End of Term 1

Well, today (Friday) was the last day of term one at school. Yay!! We are off tomorrow for Sydney, on our way driving up to Brisbane - we have a couple of stops on the way with friends. From Brisbane we are flying up to Cairns for a week, then its back to Brisbane and the drive home. The drawing card for Cairns is the Great Barrier Reef - this is where the reef is closest to the mainland and Cairns is a base for exploring the reef. Other sites of interest are the Daintree Rainforest and the Atherton Tableland. If we are anywhere near a computer and have a few minutes, we'll try to blog as we go, if not, make sure to check back frequently after 28 April for all the news and picutres of our holiday.
