Sunday evening was a beautiful evening - warm, no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. John was still out fishing, so the girls and I went to a local park and met up with some friends (wife and daughters of the other fisherman!) to watch the show. There was a jumpy castle for the kids, camel rides and food, and a stage with life entertainment. There were dancers, the Batemans Bay Concert Band (I don't think that was their name, but I can't remember), a multi-faith choir, and a reading and re-enactment of the Christmas Story - with real camels (only in Australia.) The night finished off with beautiful fireworks when it got dark, about 10 pm this time of year.
