Fun at the Fair

A carnival arrives in town every December and stays all summer long - it was here back in January when we arrived, and it came to town last week. Friday was the opening day, and Rachel and some friends arranged to meet and go on some rides. It is set up on a large grassy area at Corrigan's Beach in Batehaven, I remember going in January when there was a full moon, and at every turn on the ferris wheel we could see the moon over the water, and as it was a still night there was a moon path all the way to the beach. This night was for the girls, though, and I followed them around with the help of another parent as they went on many of the rides and had a great time.
